Your brain has two major materials - grey matter and white matter. The grey matter is where the information is processed - thoughts, language, feelings, etc. The white matter moves this data around. Now here’s where we it gets interesting (and car related). Information in the brain moves fast. Like, ~275mph fast. That means that if you are travelling top speed in a Veyron, you are literally traveling almost fast as your thoughts. And if you’re in the Chiron, you’d be outrunning them by about 10mph. Crazy stuff.
That’s pretty god damn fast.

Here’s another fun brain fact: a hemispherectomy is a rare surgical procedure in which half of the brain is removed from a newborn to eliminate a life-threatening seizure. Moving on from the procedure, the child develops normally, as if he/she still had both brains in. This is because the half that wasn’t removed takes on the responsibilities of the other half.

And, weirder still, it was something Ben Carson was actually good at.

You mean when he wasn’t asleep?

I don’t know that he’s ever really been awake.
